Sunrise or Sunset?
A colleague the other day asked me if I’d prefer Sunrise or Sunset.
My answer was it depends on my mood, the occasion and the situation.
Sunrise gives me energy and I’m looking forward to a new day. Sunset, on the other hand, I know, would give me time to rest soon.
But with both, Sunrise allows me to see the view vividly, the wonderful scenery, beautiful faces of the individual and clear image of life in general. I feel like there’s always something to be done and would keep me busy.
I feel like I don’t have to be scared because there’s sunlight. If it’s too bright, I can always cover my eyes with sunglasses. I can cover my face with a hat or an umbrella. I can cover my arms with a jacket, legs with jeans and feet with shoes.
Sunset is like a gloomy day when you know it’s gonna be dark soon. A lot of things can happen in the terrifying dark. Unless I’ll be with someone or heading to a party at night, then, that’s a different story!
Overall, Sunrise wins my heart!
